Alison How was born in Malaysia and moved to Sydney at a young age. She graduated with an Exercise Physiology degree from UNSW prior to attaining her Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney.
She started her career working in hospitals and moved to the private sector to further pursue her interest in sports injuries. Ali has worked with the UNSW Rugby Union Club in 2014 and 2015. She attended the 2016 Eastern and Australian University Games as physiotherapist for the UNSW sports teams. You can also find Ali on the pitch playing for the UNSW AFL Club.
She has a particular interest in sports injuries and takes a combined approach which utilises exercise prescription, manual therapy, dry needling, and Real Time Ultrasound. She also has a keen interest in clinical pilates & helps lead our specialised pilates classes here at the practice.
Alison is an APA member and has completed courses including Clinical Pilates, Dry Needling, APA Sports Level 1 & 2, and most recently LJ Lee’s Thoracic Ring Approach.
